Job Summary:
A Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified candidates for an organization. They work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements, source potential candidates, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring process to ensure the best talent is brought into the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Sourcing:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals to source candidates.
Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
Screening & Selection:
Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Interviewing & Assessment:
Develop interview questions and selection criteria.
Administer pre-employment assessments or technical tests if required.
Provide feedback and recommendations to hiring managers.
Negotiation & Offer Management:
Negotiate job offers, salary, and benefits with candidates.
Hiring Manager Collaboration
Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
Provide guidance on job descriptions, interview techniques, and selection criteria.
Ensure a seamless recruitment experience by optimizing hiring manager communication and expectations.
Data & Compliance:
Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and hiring metrics.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies in the recruitment process.
Continuously evaluate and improve hiring practices for efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- MBA (Full Time) in Human Resource
- Proven experience as a recruiter (in-house).
- Strong knowledge of recruitment techniques, sourcing tools, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple job openings and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in industry-specific recruitment (e.g. Manufacturing).
- Familiarity with HR software and data-driven hiring strategies.
