Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for the Mechanical Maintenance Head, based in Vijayawada. The responsibilities include leading mechanical maintenance operations for machinery and equipment, developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring minimal downtime. The role also involves troubleshooting mechanical issues, managing a team of technicians, overseeing inventory for maintenance needs, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The Mechanical Maintenance Head will collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency and support the company's goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical maintenance and equipment troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules
  • Proficiency in team management and leadership within a mechanical maintenance team
  • Knowledge of industrial safety standards, quality control, and compliance measures
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage resources efficiently and maintain inventory for operational needs
  • Familiarity with manufacturing operations within the roofing or construction material industry is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance roles, including leadership positions, is strongly desired
