Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Drafting, vetting various agreements/ contracts / work orders.
- (Legal Notice, Petitions, Suits, Lease Deed, License Agreement, MOU, and Affidavit etc. )
- Understanding of below mentioned Real estate laws is preferable
- Indian Stamp Act, 1899 and Registration Act, 1908
- Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA),
- Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013
- Transfer of Property Act, 1882
- Indian Easement Act, 1882
- Indian Contract Act, 1872
- Land Revenue Codes
- Registration Act, 1908.
- Advise on all aspects of corporate, banking and financial laws and practice.
- Doing Stamp Duty Valuation, Registration and Adjudication of various Agreement and Conveyance relating to property matters.
- Ensuring business compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and internal Policies on Integrity and Compliance.
- Candidate should have knowledge of Company Secretarial work as well.
- Resolving legal/commercial queries and providing legal opinion to various departments of the Company.
- Legal Drafting/Notice/ - Drafting and vetting of documents for various business transactions / deals.
- Providing legal opinion on various Legal matters relating to property and real estate matters.
- Support Litigation matters managing filing timelines, updating status of the on going matters on a daily basis.
- To ensure the company achieves the best commercial and legal terms possible, in particular by providing necessary legal support to all Subsidiary Companies, Branches.
- Responsible for all non-litigation, litigation and corporate legal work related to the Business and its projects.
- Assisting and providing legal advice and guidelines to the company regarding new projects, execution of respective documents and completion of necessary formalities etc.
