Hiring – Rotating / Package Engineer | Oil & Gas Industry | Chennai Location

Position: Rotating / Package Engineer

Location: Chennai, India

Experience: 10 to 20 Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 60 Days

Job Description:

Responsible for engineering design, selection, and specification of rotating and packaged equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, and utility packages.

Prepare and review datasheets, technical specifications, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations.

Coordinate with vendors and internal disciplines for design interfaces, documentation, and approvals.

Review and finalize vendor drawings, GA, P&IDs, and performance data.

Ensure all designs comply with API, ASME, ISO, and client-specific standards.

Provide engineering support during project execution and ensure quality and schedule adherence.

Qualifications:

B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

10–20 years of experience in Rotating Equipment / Package Engineering for Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical projects.

Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO).

Excellent vendor coordination and documentation review skills.
