Embedded System Programmer

Job description :

The candidate will be part of Project "Evolv28" at Aether Mindtech Solutions Pvt Ltd, working with a dynamic cross functional development team performing embedded modeling, analysis, design, development and testing of our next generation Medtech device. Design and Develop, architect complex embedded systems involving microcontrollers such as nRF5340, ESP32, nRF7002 and its supported peripherals such as sensor (I2C), SD Card (SPI, SDIO), external Digital to Analog Converter (DAC), etc. Individuals must have the ability to develop system requirements, system architecture and design, system test requirements and establish a system design approach based on those requirements aligned with the defined coding standards. The selected candidate must have a background in embedded firmware development inline with nRF Connect SDK , ESP-IDF, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication, DAC and codecs development, Real Time Operating System (RTOS), Battery power management. The candidate should have strong coding skills, devices/system interaction and troubleshooting skills, and will be involved in all aspects of the product development process (concept, design, implementation, validation, verification, compliance and production). The selected candidate shall be able to work individually and with team hardware, firmware and QA. Education Preferred

●B.Tech/M.Tech Electronics/ Mechatronics / Computer Science/IT

Experience Preferred

● At least 2+ years experience in working on Zephyr RTOS and Embedded Systems development inline with BLE and WiFi modules such as nRF5340, nRF7002 and ESP32.

● Past experience on working with applications using DAC and different Codecs.

● Past experience involving real time deployments of embedded products

Essential Competencies :

● Proven expertise in all aspects of Product development process, right from conceptualization to field deployment to support

● Strong experience in working with microcontrollers like nrf5340, ESP32, nRF7002

● Experience in audio applications involving DAC and Codecs will be an added advantage.

● Experience in memory constrained embedded device system programming

● Strong experience in Embedded C, C++ Code developmen

t ● Experience in Free RTOS, Zephyr RTOS, BLE / WiFi protocols, etc

● Experience in file storage applications involving SD card support, data block configuration

● Hands on Development experience with serial communications/ interfacing with UART, SPI, I2C, I2S

● USB, ADC/DAC , Standard IO etc

● Must have experience Debugging, Troubleshooting Embedded systems using Emulators, IDE, IDF, Digital Multimeter and Oscilloscope.

● Past experience in working on IDEs like Visual Studio, ESP-IDF

● Experience on Real Time Operating Systems based system designs (any RTOS)

● Experience on 8/ 16/ 32 bit Microcontrollers

● Understanding of the software development life cycle and processes(Water fall, Agile)
• Hands on Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).

● Hands-on experience with Code repositories.

● Architecture, Design and Documentation of Embedded Systems Software

● Work closely with systems, hardware, validation/reliability and manufacturing engineering disciplines

● Able to understand hardware design and schematics at high level

● Must have experience with software version control (Bitbucket/Git), defect tracking software (JIRA)

● Understanding of the entire system development process.

● Schematics Designs and Bill of material preparations

● Strong English communication skills - oral and written.

● Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.

● The ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.

● Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices.

● Working experience in product based companies.

● Understanding and responding quickly to customer issues
