About the Role

We're building an embedded product that bridges
hardware, firmware, and cloud connectivity
— and we're looking for a
hands-on Embedded Systems Intern
who can develop the device-side stack end-to-end.

You'll work closely with our technical team to integrate microcontrollers, sensors, and communication modules to send real-time data to the cloud. The web application and dashboard development will be handled separately — your focus will be on
device, data, and connectivity
.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys
building real systems
, debugging, and seeing their work come to life beyond simulations or labs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and test firmware for microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi Pico, etc.)
  • Interface with sensors and communication modules (UART, SPI, I2C, RS485)
  • Implement and test IoT communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, Modbus)
  • Establish stable data transfer from device to cloud (AWS IoT, Firebase, ThingsBoard, etc.)
  • Debug hardware-level and communication issues
  • Maintain documentation and use Git for version control

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing or completed B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, ECE, EEE, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Working knowledge of embedded C/C++ or MicroPython
  • Understanding of microcontroller basics and sensor interfacing
  • Familiarity with IoT communication (MQTT/HTTP)
  • Strong interest in building and testing real hardware

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LoRa, Wi-Fi, or BLE
  • Exposure to Modbus or industrial communication
  • Knowledge of OTA firmware updates
  • Familiarity with cloud IoT platforms (AWS IoT, Firebase, ThingsBoard)
  • Experience using KiCad, EasyEDA, or basic PCB design tools
