Job Description:
Devops Jenkins-L2Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to resolve, maintain and manage client's software/ hardware/ network based on the service requests raised from the end-user as per the defined SLA's ensuring client satisfaction
͏Job Summary
The role supports deployment automation, monitoring integration, and alignment with CI/CD best practices across integration and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
CI/CD Pipeline Development
Design and implement scalable Jenkins pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
Integrate Jenkins with version control systems, artifact repositories, and cloud-native services
Support deployment automation improvements and enhancements
Ensure alignment with CI/CD processes and software development best practices
Collaborate with platform and application teams to define pipeline requirements
Triage and resolve pipeline issues in integration and production setups
Monitoring and Support
Support monitoring components deployment and update activities
Automate integration of monitoring and observability tools into Jenkins workflows
Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities and compliance gaps
Ensure observability and compliance across deployed environments
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain documentation for Jenkins jobs, deployment procedures, and automation workflows
Track and report pipeline metrics, deployment status, and issue resolution
Ensure accurate effort tracking and alignment with project management tools
Required Skills
Advanced hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline development
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy, Shell, or Python
Familiarity with cloud-native deployment practices and monitoring tools
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of security compliance and vulnerability management
Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and documentation skills

Jenkins pipeline configurations and automation scripts
Deployment automation workflows and CI/CD integrations
Monitoring integration components and support runbooks
Timely updates in project tracking systems and delivery dashboards
