Role & responsibilities

DevOps Engineer CI / CD Team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development process.
  • Good at groovy scripting. Able to design, create, troubleshoot the Jenkins pipeline code.
  • Strong Hands on DevOps CICD tools like: Jenkins, SonarQube, CxOne, Jfrog.
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge about the DevOps CiCd process.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production / non-production environments.
  • Develop scripts for automation of operational tasks and system monitoring.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Provide Level 2 /3 technical support for production systems.
  • Document processes, procedures, and best practices for team reference.
  • Basic Cloud exp will do for GCP, AWS, Azure and various services experience.

Required skills:

  • Proven 4 years' up to 8 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
  • Basic Linux knowledge is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Secondary skills

  • Networking/certificate management knowledge will be add-on
  • At least any 1 database knowledge, Postgres would be advantages.
  • ITIL process awareness i.e. (Change/Incident/Problem Mgmt)
  • Knowledge about Releases management
  • Creating Best practices & SOPs
