Overview
The Weddings Head oversees the end-to-end planning, management, and execution of all wedding projects within the organization. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional client-handling skills, creative vision, operational expertise, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. The Weddings Head ensures flawless delivery, drives business growth, maintains brand standards, and creates memorable experiences for clients.
Key Responsibilities
A. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the weddings team including planners, designers, coordinators, and on-ground staff.
- Allocate responsibilities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Build team capability through training, performance evaluations, and skill enhancement.
B. Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for premium wedding clients.
- Conduct client meetings, understand requirements, expectations, and budgets.
- Ensure high client satisfaction through proactive communication, transparency, and customized solutions.
- Manage escalations and address concerns promptly.
C. Wedding Planning & Project Management
- Oversee complete wedding planning lifecycle—from concept creation to final execution.
- Develop detailed project timelines, checklists, and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal teams (creative, production, operations, logistics) and external vendors.
- Conduct site visits, venue assessments, and feasibility checks.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to organizational processes.
D. Creative Strategy & Experience Design
- Conceptualize unique wedding themes, décor ideas, and experiential elements.
- Work with design teams to develop mood boards, presentations, layouts, and visual concepts.
- Continuously innovate based on trends, client preferences, and brand identity.
E. Vendor & Partner Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors (decor, hospitality, entertainment, production, etc.).
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements.
- Ensure quality, timely delivery, and adherence to standards.
F. Budgeting & Revenue Management
- Prepare accurate budgets and financial projections for wedding projects.
- Track expenses, manage costs, and maintain profitability.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cross-selling, and upselling.
G. Operational Excellence
- Lead on-ground execution ensuring seamless coordination and flawless delivery.
- Oversee logistics, rehearsal schedules, risk management, and last-minute troubleshooting.
- Maintain quality control across all touchpoints.
H. Business Development & Strategy
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and brand collaborations.
- Participate in pitches, presentations, and client acquisition activities.
- Contribute to strategic planning and expansion of the weddings portfolio.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related fields (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
