You will manage the property operation with the team of F B and housekeeping staff. The role gives you exposure in handling property operation, expense, and cost management of the property. This role involves providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure that the property operates efficiently and effectively toward achieving organizational goals and objectives. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when necessary. Commitment to upholding the organization's values and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Property Manager, you shall be bound by the following duties and responsibilities for the property management of the hostel premises:

  • The Property Manager shall be responsible and shall supervise all the matters concerning the functioning of the Hostel, including the hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness of the Hostel.

  • The Property Manager shall allot the hostel rooms supervise them and maintain a complaints log.

  • The Property Manager shall check the occupancy tracking and resident students register on a daily basis.

  • The Property Manager shall supervise the functioning of the mess and the working of the mess managers/ supervisors, cooks, cleaners, and helpers.

  • The Property Manager shall ensure that discipline is maintained in the hostel premises and that all the hostel rules and regulations including but not limited to ragging are enforced in letter and spirit.

  • The Property Manager shall ensure that no intoxicant, combustible, hazardous, or poisonous substances (by whatever name it may be called) are brought in or stored at the Hostel Premises and shall conduct disciplinary action against the Hostel resident indulging in the stocking, distribution or the consumption of the same.

  • The Property Manager shall be responsible for the overall security of the hostel premises and shall always ensure that the hostel residents are back in the premises by the prescribed time and that the gates are locked thereafter.

  • The Property Manager shall be taking care of the upkeep of the room and maintenance of the property and all the MST issues.

  • The property manager shall be responsible for the monthly rent collection from the students.

  • The property manager shall be responsible for the readiness of room check-in and check-out.

  • The property manager shall be responsible for 60% renewal at the property.

The Property Manager shall:

  • Watch over the cleanliness of the dining hall and the kitchen and of the food prepared;

a. Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen room and the dining hall, especially when the hostel residents are taking their meals.

b. Ensure discipline and decorum at meal timings.

c. Supervise the system of purchase of mess stores, provisions etc.

d. Ensure the upkeep of stores.

e. Examine the monthly income and expenditure statement of the mess.

f. Stop the mess facilities with respect to the residents who have vacated the

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal departments, external partners, and community organizations. Address stakeholder concerns and ensure effective communication channels are established.

Requirement

  6. Preferably from a hospitality background

  7. 3+ Years of experience in Hospitality
