Job Title : Revit Fabrication Modeler (MEP)

Experience : Min 2years

Location: Kolkata (Work from office)

Salary based on market standard.

Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain detailed 3D models using software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks

Interpret architectural and engineering plans to create integrated building system models

Perform clash detection and resolve spatial conflicts between structural, architectural, and MEP components

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure model accuracy and feasibility

Generate construction documents, material takeoffs, and fabrication drawings based on BIM data

Maintain consistent documentation, version control, and file organization standards

Assist in implementing BIM execution plans and company-wide modeling protocols

Update models based on project changes, field data, or redline markups

Support quality control efforts and participate in design coordination meetings

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Hard skills :

  • Proficiency in BIM software platforms, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
  • Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and 3D visualization
  • Understanding of construction methods, codes, and industry standards
  • Familiarity with BIM 360 or other collaborative project platforms

Soft skills :

  • Strong attention to detail and precision in modeling tasks
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple project deadlines and adapt to changes
  • Analytical thinking for identifying design issues or model inconsistencies
