About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and API-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python, FastAPI, and REST APIs, with strong experience in developing and maintaining robust data systems that power analytics, AI, and automation workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and processing of large data sets.
  • Build and optimize Python-based ETL workflows for data integration and automation.
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs and FastAPI services for data access and system interoperability.
  • Implement WebSocket-based solutions for real-time data streaming and communication.
  • Integrate data pipelines with AI/ML systems and RPA/AIOps platforms to support automation and intelligent decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system architectures (HLD/LLD).
  • Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and reliability across data workflows.

Key Skills (Mandatory)

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, and REST API development
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL workflows
  • Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with distributed systems, data lakes, and data warehouses
  • Practical experience with WebSockets for real-time data solutions

Additional Skills

  • Experience in system design (High-Level and Low-Level Design)
  • Familiarity with UI/API integration principles
  • Exposure to RPA and AIOps tools or frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience working in data-driven or AI/automation-focused environments
