About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a fast-growing burger QSR brand. We prefer candidates who have worked with premium and high-standard burger chains such as McDonald's, Five Guys, Shake Shack, Wendy's, Carl's Jr., Hardee's, BurgerFi, Smashburger, Johnny Rockets, Louis Burger, Burgerama, Biggies Burger, The Burger Club, Boss Burger, etc.

Candidates who have previously held roles like Shift Manager or Team Leader and are ready to take the next step in their career are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations in a high-volume QSR environment
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure smooth shift execution
  • Maintain strict food quality, hygiene, and brand SOP compliance
  • Ensure timely food preparation and outgoing orders
  • Stock control: inventory management, ordering, wastage monitoring
  • Implement training, skill development, and performance tracking for staff
  • Maintain kitchen safety, sanitization, and equipment upkeep
  • Resolve operational challenges and address customer feedback
  • Prepare shift reports and assist with basic MIS and operational paperwork

Candidate Requirements

  • Must have prior experience in a recognized QSR burger chain
  • Experience as Shift Manager, Team Leader, or Senior Kitchen Crew
  • Strong people management and team leadership skills
  • Knowledge of QSR systems, processes, and fast-paced kitchen workflows
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage peak business hours
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts
