Where you fit in

At Shell, our supply chain is more than logistics — it's a strategic enabler of our ambition to become the world's leading integrated energy company by 2035. We're transforming how energy is delivered, with a focus on value creation, resilience, and sustainability.

This is your opportunity to join a purpose-driven organization where your expertise will directly influence how Shell delivers energy solutions to the world — cleaner, faster, and smarter.

What's the role?

As a Supply Chain Demand Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of this transformation, helping Shell anticipate and shape demand across global projects and business units.

Your further responsibilities include:

  • Advise & Influence: Act as a strategic partner to project and business unit teams, guiding demand planning strategies that align with Shell's commercial and operational goals.
  • Translate Demand into Action: Collect and validate demand signals, converting them into actionable insights using Shell's global demand planning platform.
  • Shape Supply Strategy: Collaborate across Shell's supply chain ecosystem to co-create supply strategies that drive business outcomes.
  • Enable Data-Driven Decisions: Build and maintain planning models and dashboards using Microsoft Power Platform to support real-time decision-making.
  • Drive Governance & Integrity: Ensure demand data is accurate, complete, and governed by robust processes.
  • Champion Innovation: Identify opportunities to automate and optimize demand planning processes, contributing to Shell's digital transformation.
  • Connect Globally: Work across Shell's diverse, multi-cultural technical and commercial communities to ensure transparent and effective communication.

What we need from you?

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or a related technical field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or consulting — ideally within energy, oil & gas, or other complex industries.
  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders, especially in technical environments.
  • A consulting mindset — you're comfortable diagnosing challenges, recommending solutions, and guiding adoption.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for data integrity and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a global mindset.

After you submit your application, you will receive an email providing a link to an online assessment that is a mandatory part of the process. The email will come from HireVue - please check your spam/junk mailbox if you do not see the email. Once completed, your application will be reviewed to determine next steps. Thank you for your interest in Shell.
