Role & responsibilities

Maintenance - A) Ensuring daily maintenance like check list timely periodic and preventive maintenance of equipment. B) Checking the check list prepared by technician and taking the action accordingly. C) Preparing of maintenance schedules and executing of Project Company own P & M equipment. D) Taking immediate action against any breakdown machine to get back in running condition.

Planning A) Taking care of operation of equipment according to the project requirement by shift wise along with manpower. B) Arrangement of equipment as per the site requirement against the HOD approval. C) Arranging the requirements before any erection or dismantling of equipments. D) Preparing of maintenance schedules and executing. E) Fallowing against requisition for spares and consumables as per the requirement.

Skills required – A) Entry in SAP like equipment daily run hours, Diesel issued, Maintenance hours and breakdown hours. B) Preparing of Work order for spares against machine.

Documentation – A) MIS reports. B) Third party certificate. C) Service report, D) Check list, D) RTO papers. E) MOM of monthly, F) Manuals of equipments.

Meeting – A) Conducting safety meeting on monthly bases for P & M staff with safety team. B) Attending the monthly P & M review meeting with in charge and project head related to P & M work, manpower, machine utilisation etc.

Job Responsibility of site engineer

  1. Responsible for operation and maintenance of construction Machinery.

  2. Responsible for erection and commissioning of EQPT with proper safety measures.

  3. Allotment EQPT and Manpower as per site requirement.

  4. Requisition of necessary spares by coordinating with department in charge and technicians.

  5. Arranging monthly safety meeting to operators and technical staff.

  6. Carried out preventive maintenance of EQPT as per the schedule.

  7. Attending break downs if any of EQPT and providing required spares on immediate bases.

  8. Fallow up with Third Party authorised person for Inspection for Tower Cranes and Passenger Hoists by concern authorised person.

  9. Updating in SAP like Hrs, diesel of all respective project entries regularly.

  10. Generating MIS reports on monthly and updating to project in charge for better utilisation of EQPT.

  11. Checking the daily check lists of EQPT and taking necessary actions.

  12. EQPT documentation like MIS Reports, FSR, Third Party Certification, Vehicle documents, and Daily check lists of machinery.

  13. Installation and rectification of borewell Pumps of sites with vendor in coordination with MEP team.

  14. De-watering activity when required in the sites.

  15. Pre inspection of machine after receiving from other project before handover to project for operation.

  16. Taking necessary action to the points raised in the monthly project meeting related to P&M.
