We are seeking a 
Senior IBM ACE Platforms Engineer

to support a mission-critical environment as part of an Application Management Services (AMS) engagement. The role involves 
managing, maintaining, and supporting integration platforms

built on 
IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM MQ, IBM WebSphere, and IBM AIX

, ensuring 
high availability, performance, and compliance

of enterprise integration services.

Position:

Senior IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / Middleware Engineer

Experience:

7+ Years (minimum 6 years in middleware platform engineering & support)

Responsibilities

  • Provide platform-level support for 
    IBM ACE, IBM MQ, IBM WebSphere
    , and 
    IBM AIX
     environments.
  • Perform 
    installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
     of middleware components in line with change/release processes.
  • Monitor system health, resource utilization, and performance of integration components; proactively address bottlenecks/failures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across 
    ACE flows, MQ queues, message flows, and integration nodes
     with minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with application support and development teams for optimal performance and deployment.
  • Manage 
    SSL certificates, security configurations, and access controls
     across middleware platforms.
  • Participate in 
    capacity planning, DR drills, and performance tuning
     activities.
  • Maintain 
    documentation
     including runbooks, support procedures, and configuration standards.
  • Support business continuity by participating in 
    24x7 on-call rotations
     and incident response as required

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years
     in middleware platform engineering and production support roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in 
    IBM ACE, IBM MQ, IBM WebSphere Application Server
    .
  • Solid knowledge of 
    IBM AIX OS
    , including shell scripting and system administration.
  • Experience managing 
    production and non-production enterprise integration environments
    .
  • Proficiency with 
    monitoring tools
     and 
    log analysis
     for ACE/MQ/WebSphere.
  • Strong understanding of 
    ITIL processes
     (incident, change, problem management).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex integration & infrastructure issues in 
    Railroad services
    environments.
  • Excellent 
    communication and coordination skills
     to work with cross-functional teams
