Job Description
MetricStream is seeking a
UI/UX Web Designer
to own the design and experience of our corporate Drupal website. This role is design-first: you will focus on
research, user journeys, visual design, and prototyping
, using tools like
Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and AI-enabled workflows
to translate ideas into interactive mockups. You will lead the UI/UX design process, utilize AI tools, and leverage analytics to report and optimize conversion rates.

You'll partner closely with the Drupal Back-End Developer, who will own production code, while you ensure the experience is intuitive and user-centric.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Own the website's visual identity and design system, ensuring brand consistency across all digital experiences.
  • Establish and maintain a scalable design system and style guide across the website.
  • Conduct user research, persona development, journey mapping, and usability testing.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Explore and implement AI-enabled design-to-code tools to speed up design iterations and prototyping.
  • Ensure designs follow accessibility (WCAG 2.1), responsive design, and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Back-End Developer to ensure seamless handoff and implementation of designs in Drupal.
  • Leverage analytics and heatmaps (Google Analytics, Hotjar) to track, report and optimize user flows and optimize conversion rates.

Skills And Experience

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design for enterprise websites.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design and UX problem-solving.
  • Bachelor's degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in Figma (design systems, prototyping, components) and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with Drupal theming and front-end coding (Twig, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
  • Understanding of SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization.
  • Experience working with analytics (Google Analytics, Hotjar) to drive design decisions.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with AI-powered design-to-code tools (Figma-to-React/HTML, automated layout generation, accessibility checkers).
