Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team on an immediate basis. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in WordPress development. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress sites for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins.

  2. Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.

  3. Implement backend functionality using WordPress
    functions and hooks.

    third-party APIs
    and services into WordPress websites.
    (API knowledge is a MUST)

  5. Optimize website performance and ensure scalability.

  6. Troubleshoot and debug issues with WordPress websites.

  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

  • Strong understanding of WordPress core, including functions and hooks.

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience.

  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

  • Experience working with
    WordPress APIs and third-party integrations.

  • Familiarity with front-end development frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.

  • Solid understanding of responsive web design principles.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Experience with version control systems such as Git (preferred).

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with other content management systems (CMS) such as Drupal or Joomla.

  • This is a full-time position based at our Wakad, Pune office.
