Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Officer : Mechanical to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting products and materials to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent documentation skills, and a solid understanding of quality control procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
  • Verify that all products meet internal and customer specifications.
  • Use measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM machines.
  • Identify defects and non-conformities and report them to supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate inspection and test records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in quality is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems (QMS).
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficient in using measurement and inspection tools.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, quality software tools).
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Experience in [industry, e.g., automotive, aerospace, electronics, etc.].
  • Certification such as CQI (Certified Quality Inspector), CMM Operator, or Six Sigma.
