Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting products and materials to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent documentation skills, and a solid understanding of quality control procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
  • Verify that all products meet internal and customer specifications.
  • Use measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM machines.
  • Identify defects and non-conformities and report them to supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate inspection and test records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in quality is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems (QMS).
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficient in using measurement and inspection tools.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, quality software tools).
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Experience in [industry, e.g., automotive, aerospace, electronics, etc.].
  • Certification such as CQI (Certified Quality Inspector), CMM Operator, or Six Sigma.
