Job Summary:

The Cashier cum Accountant will be responsible for handling daily cash & card transactions

at the retail store, maintaining accurate financial records & ensuring proper accounting

of sales, stock & expenses

· Key Responsibilities:

· Cash & Billing Operations:

· Handle billing & customers payments through Point-of-Sale (POS) system.

· Ensure accurate cash, card & UPI transaction entries.

· Maintain daily cash register & submit cash collection to the bank or HO

· Issue proper receipts, invoices & maintain bill books

· Accounting & Record Keeping:

· Record and post sales & purchase transactions accurately in Tally on daily basis

· Prepare weekly cash and sales reports.

· Support monthly closing, bank reconciliation & inventory valuation.

· Skills & Qualifications

· Knowledge of retail billing systems (POS, Excel, tally or similar software)

· Accuracy in handling cash & financial entries

· Tally working knowledge

· Attention to detail & integrity

· Sales / Purchase entries in tally, Bank reconciliation and petty cash management

 

Work Conditions:

· Store -based position

· Working hours as per retail operations

· May include weekends & holidays as per store schedul

This on-site role is ideal for detail-oriented candidates who have 2 to 4 years experience in Cashier cum Accounts preferably in retail stores & thrive on transactional accuracy, timely reporting & Annual CTC offered is between 2.4 Lakhs to 3 Lakhs per annum & candidates residing in Mumbai & comfortable to travel to Thane on site retail store only need to apply
