Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cashier, located in Mumbai. The Cashier will be responsible for handling daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records of payments and receipts, and ensuring proper cash management. The role includes processing transactions efficiently, issuing receipts, and responding to queries about pricing, payment methods, or balances. Additionally, the Cashier will assist with basic financial reporting and contribute to maintaining an organized workstation.

Qualifications

  • Strong numerical ability and accuracy in handling cash or financial transactions
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash registers, or related financial tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to assist customers and resolve queries effectively
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic financial or accounting knowledge
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a dynamic on-site setting
  • Prior experience in cashiering or financial management is a plus but not mandatory
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in finance or accounting are beneficial
