Role Purpose:

Preparation of AutoCAD drawings for EIT equipment supports, cable tray supports, nesting drawings, creating support material list, cable trays layout, prepare detailed drawings for other similar EIT production engineering deliverables in line with project and yard requirements. Follow company standards for AutoCAD drafting.

Designation: Junior Designer – EIT Engineering - Global Service Centre

Base Location: Navi Mumbai

Reporting to: Assistant Manager - EIT Engineering - Global Service Centre

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Preparation of drawings as per guidance taken from responsible engineer.

• Producing production fabrication and installation drawings.

• Preparation of bill of materials, material top-ups requirements.

• Carry out duties assigned by superior for day-to-day operations and to ensure them to comply with the established standards and procedures

• Prepare project deliverables for EIT engineering, assuring that they are mistake free and in line with project standards, yard EIT standard, and drafting standards.

• Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.

Skills & Competencies:

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with AutoCAD

• Fluent in English Language (read, write, and speak)

• Good technical competency and ability to generate reports

• Should be competent in both manual drawing skills as wells as computer-based application, such as automated computer assisted drafting (AutoCAD)

• Conceptualization skills to visualize finished drawings and assigned projects

• Ability to generate complete discipline drawings with Engineer's supervision

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks within assigned project and to meet required deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with departmental / project objectives

• Eloquent.

• Team oriented, innovative mind-set and high degree of initiative

• Creative and communication skills

• Client / Customer Orientation

• Planning and self-management of assigned tasks

Minimum Education & Qualifications:

• Engineering Diploma
• Proficient with software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, PDF, Microsoft office packages
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with AutoCAD
