Job Overview

Easa College Of Engineering & Technology is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual for the role of Assistant Professor in the Department of CSE & IT. This is a full-time position located in Coimbatore, suitable for freshers eager to launch their academic careers. Qualifications and Skills

  • Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and machine learning (mandatory skill) to ensure thorough understanding and teaching of foundational subjects.
  • Proficiency in Python, enabling the candidate to teach programming courses and support students' learning in modern computing languages.
  • Knowledge of C/C++ to facilitate the understanding of procedural programming and object-oriented concepts among students.
  • Experience in classroom teaching with the ability to develop and deliver engaging and informative lectures to a diverse student body.
  • Ability to contribute to curriculum development ensuring courses remain relevant and competitive in the fast-evolving field of computer science.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles to inform both theoretical and practical aspects of the curriculum, preparing students for contemporary challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, colleagues, and administrative staff.
  • Enthusiasm for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver lectures on computer science and information technology topics, including data structures, algorithms, and machine learning.
  • Design, administer, and grade examinations and assignments, providing constructive feedback to support students' academic growth.
  • Develop course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and handouts, ensuring alignment with educational standards and objectives.
  • Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals, providing support and resources as needed.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and committees, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and academic planning.
