Job Title: Works Manager – Car showroom

Location: Coimbatore

Experience: Minimum 5years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and productivity.
  • Lead and supervise a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality repairs and maintenance of vehicles.
  • Monitor and achieve service department targets (revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction).
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure top-notch service experience.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
  • Ensure adherence to OEM standards and company policies.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Monitor KPIs such as turnaround time (TAT), repeat jobs, and first-time fix rate.
  • Collaborate with the sales and parts departments for smooth inter-departmental coordination.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive service operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of automobile service practices, diagnostics, and workshop management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with DMS (Dealer Management System) and service software.
  • Ability to manage pressure, resolve conflicts, and drive performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30, ₹45,000.00 per month
