General Manager Operations in Hospitality Industry

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hospitality property. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, optimizing operational efficiency, driving financial performance, and leading a high-performing team across all departments including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily operations of the property, ensuring smooth, efficient, and profitable running of all departments.
- Develop and implement operational policies, SOPs, and best practices.
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards and consistently high customer satisfaction.
- Team Management:
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage department heads and key staff.
- Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, development, and accountability.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and support staff development initiatives.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Monitor and control operational expenses to maximize profitability.
- Analyze financial data and implement strategies for revenue growth and cost control.
- Guest Experience & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all guest feedback, complaints, and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Uphold quality assurance standards and ensure consistent delivery of services.
- Monitor online reviews and maintain a strong brand reputation.
- Sales & Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to drive occupancy, bookings, and brand visibility.
- Participate in local networking events and build relationships with stakeholders and travel partners.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and legal regulations.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5–10 years of progressive experience in hotel/hospitality management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L statements.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage diverse teams and drive performance.
- Familiarity with hotel/property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work on weekends/holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40, ₹75,000.00 per month
