About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a proactive and analytical BI Analyst with 15 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to design and deliver data-driven insights through dashboards, reports, and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in BI tools and a passion for transforming data into actionable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection and Preparation

  • Extract, clean, validate, and prepare datasets from multiple business systems.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data for analysis and reporting.

2. Report and Dashboard Development

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable BI dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAS, Qlik Sense.
  • Develop intuitive data visualizations to monitor KPIs, business trends, and performance metrics.

3. Data Analysis and Insights

  • Analyze data trends, correlations, and patterns to provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.

4. Documentation and User Enablement

  • Document BI processes, data models, and reporting structures for knowledge sharing.
  • Provide training and support to business users for effective use of BI solutions.

5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Work with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical BI solutions.

6. Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  • Stay updated on BI tools, emerging data technologies, and visualization best practices.
  • Recommend improvements to reporting processes and BI frameworks to enhance efficiency and usability.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in SQL and strong command over BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAS, Qlik Sense).
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and database structures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills using data.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.

Education/Qualification:

  • B.Tech/M.Tech (CS/IT), M.Sc (CS/IT), M.Sc (Statistics), or equivalent qualification in Data Science and Engineering.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in BI/Data Analytics will be an added advantage.
