Job Description

  • Location: Chennai (Workroom Office)

  • Schedule: 5 Days/Week Onsite

  • Working Hours: 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM IST

  • Collaboration: Work with Global Teams

  • Experience: 12+ Years

Role Overview:

As a hands-on Engineering Manager, you'll lead a high-performing team building scalable C++/Unix systems and ensure successful collaboration across global development teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a strong backend engineering team.

  • Deliver performant, reliable, and secure solutions.

  • Ensure adherence to development best practices and architecture.

  • Coordinate with global peers on project planning and delivery.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of C++ development with at least 3 years in leadership;

  • Solid experience in multithreading and Linux-based systems;

  • Strong debugging, testing, and CI/CD background;

  • Experience working with distributed teams and remote collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of networking protocols or distributed systems;

  • Exposure to C++20, Boost, STL, or other modern C++ libraries;

  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container tools;

  • Familiarity with Java (Spring Boot) and Redis.
