KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead end-to-end architectural design for commercial and residential developments, from conceptualization to completion.
  • Create innovative, efficient, and compliant architectural solutions that align with client goals and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural drawings, construction documents, and presentation materials.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, and consultants to ensure seamless execution of design intent.
  • Conduct site visits and coordinate with construction teams to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain design integrity.
  • Ensure adherence to building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards throughout the design and construction process.
  • Mentor and guide junior architects and designers, fostering a culture of creativity and technical excellence.
  • Stay up to date with emerging design trends, materials, and technologies to drive innovation in projects.
  • Participate in client meetings and present architectural concepts and design proposals with clarity and confidence.
  • Use provided home plan templates to generate or adjust site-specific lot plans in coordination with U.S. teams.
  • Prepare floor plans, elevations, roof plans, and basic site layouts as per direction.
  • Mark up redlines and incorporate design feedback from engineers and U.S.-based stakeholders.
  • Coordinate simple re-draws and replat scenarios (e.g., setbacks, easements).
  • Generate accurate and complete PDFs and DWG files for final deliverables.
  • Maintain a structured and organized file system for each property and project version.
  • Work in AutoCAD (minimum requirement); proficiency in Revit or SketchUp is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of professional architectural experience, preferably in commercial or mixed-use developments.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit and SketchUp is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing floor plans, elevations, and site layouts.
  • Understanding of U.S. residential design standards, zoning, and replatting processes is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building systems, and site planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to balance design creativity with functional and budgetary requirements.
  • Registered Architect (or in the process of licensure) preferred.
