Vector Consulting Group is an 18-year-old homegrown Indian management consulting company. We offer unique solutions to chronic 'wicked' problems in areas of supply chain, operations, sales & distribution, R&D, NPD, retail operations, Industrial CAPEX projects, and software development.

We have a strategic tie-up with TIS Inc., a $4.00 Bn Japanese company. Last year, we opened offices in Indonesia and the US and currently we have projects running in 23 countries.

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Content Copy checker to ensure all our content (old and new) on the website, social media, videos, etc. are correct in terms of their grammar and English. This includes content website, videos, podcasts, printed articles, whitepapers, etc.

This role has to ensure that the content put out is devoid of any English or grammatical errors. It should reflect the firm's professionalism and credibility.

Role & Responsibilities:

Content Review (online and offline):

  • Review all existing and new website content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, duplication, and clarity.
  • Ensure every page aligns with the firm's brand voice, tone, and editorial guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and domain teams to ensure factual accuracy and consistent messaging.
  • Ensure that all content in printed form is also correct from an English and grammar point of view.

Video & Podcast Content Quality:

  • Review and edit subtitles and transcripts for all videos and podcasts.
  • Ensure language accuracy, and adherence to brand and accessibility standards.
  • Check for consistency in style, terminology, and formatting across all published assets.

Brand & Editorial Governance:

  • Maintain the brand's editorial style guide and tone of voice.
  • Keep track of recurring language issues and suggest improvements to content workflows.

Required Competencies:

  • A language perfectionist with an eye for detail and should be driven to improve the quality of work and complete the tasks given.
  • A team player who can collaborate across marketing, content, and design teams.
  • Someone who will take responsibility of the tasks and sees them through to their completion.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in tone, structure, and language.
  • Working knowledge of digital content formats (web, video, audio) and transcription workflows.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Google Docs, Microsoft Word,
  • Strong understanding of online tools like Grammarly and others for efficient and quick copy checking.

Required Experience:

  • 6 months–1 years of experience in copy editing.
  • Excellent command of English grammar, vocabulary, and syntax.

Qualification:

  • Student of Journalism from colleges like XIC, Garware Institute of Career Education and Development (University of Mumbai), St. Paul's Institute of Communication Education, and similar institutes.

Compensation:
Competitive salary as per the market.

Work Arrangement:
Monday – Friday: Work from office in Thane.
