Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Artwork Checker to join dynamic team of my pharma client. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring packaging artwork accuracy and compliance across domestic, regulated, and ROW markets. This position involves close coordination with cross-functional teams and supports the R&D section through RLD analysis and specification management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the R&D team for Reference Listed Drug (RLD) analysis to support regulatory submissions.
- Perform artwork verification for packaging materials across Domestic, Regulated, and ROW markets, ensuring alignment with approved specifications.
- Review and validate keyline drawings for all packaging components, including cartons, labels, and inserts.
- Coordinate with internal departments including Quality Control (QC), Regulatory Affairs (RA), Purchase, and Corporate Quality (CQ) to ensure artwork consistency and compliance.
- Conduct PDF proof and shade card checks using manual methods and Karomi print proof software, ensuring color accuracy and design integrity.
- Maintain organized records of client communications, including Proofs, CDR files, and PDFs, for audit and reference purposes.
- Prepare and upload specifications in DMS and SAP, ensuring timely approval and version control.
- Dispatch signed and approved shade cards to Plant QC for production reference and quality assurance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate in Science, Pharmacy, or related field; Diploma in Packaging Technology preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in artwork checking or packaging development within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in SAP, Karomi software, and document management systems (DMS).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under regulatory timelines.
- Familiarity with GMP, regulatory guidelines, and packaging compliance standards.
