  • Project analysis: Review drawings/STP files from customers, technical specifications, and any other documents to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Cost breakdown: Analyze project documents to determine and estimate the costs of materials, labor, and equipment, including both direct and indirect resources.
  • Risk management: Evaluate project risks and contingencies to incorporate them into cost estimates.
  • Vendor management: Research, source, and compare prices from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Reporting and documentation: Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and participate in bid review meetings.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with project managers, designers, procurement, and manufacturing teams to gather information and ensure project alignment. Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

  • Proficiency in cost estimating and project control software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of project management principles.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments and external vendors.
  • Familiarity with aerospace-specific components, materials, and manufacturing processes
