Role: Support – Research

Department: Product Solutions & Development

Location: Mumbai

Reporting to: Lead – Research

Primary Purpose

The role anchors research support for LCPL's product and program solutions, with emphasis on secondary research in policy, education, skilling, sustainability, and livelihoods. The candidate will act as a knowledge backbone for solution design, enabling evidence-based decision-making for programs implemented in partnership with government and ecosystem stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive secondary research across various sectors, tailored to B2G program contexts.
  • Track policy developments, government schemes, tenders, and ecosystem movements relevant to LCPL's domains.
  • Build sector scans, competitive landscapes, and policy briefs that feed into program design and proposal development.
  • Develop research notes, whitepapers, and knowledge assets that strengthen LCPL's positioning with government and development-sector partners.
  • Synthesize large and diverse datasets into clear insights and strategic recommendations for internal and client-facing teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Project Delivery, and Strategy teams to align research outputs with LCPL's solution pipeline.
  • Stay updated on national and global trends in education, employability, sustainability, and ECD, bringing in comparative insights to sharpen LCPL's approach.

Desired Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Education, or related fields, preferably from a Tier-1 institute.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in research, with demonstrated exposure to secondary research in policy, government programs, or development sector consulting.
  • Exposure to Indian government projects or tenders will be considered an added advantage.
