Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Lead to design, plan, and lead performance testing efforts for enterprise applications. The candidate will be responsible for defining performance test strategies, leading a team of testers, coordinating with development and infrastructure teams, and ensuring that applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end performance testing activities across multiple projects.
  • Define performance testing strategy, approach, and test plans.
  • Identify performance test scenarios, prepare test scripts, and configure test environments.
  • Conduct load, stress, scalability, endurance, and volume testing.
  • Use industry-standard tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, Gatling, or k6.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret test results using APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, Splunk, etc.).
  • Provide detailed reports on performance metrics, findings, and improvement recommendations.
  • Ensure performance testing is integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Mentor and guide junior testers in performance engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading performance testing and engineering efforts.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with one or more performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, etc.).
  • Proficiency in scripting (Java, Python, Groovy, or similar).
  • Good understanding of web technologies, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify system bottlenecks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
