Position- Material Requirement & Procurement Planning Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced MRP Manager to lead material requirement and procurement planning for our Ice Cream division. The role ensures that all raw materials, ingredients, and packaging are available in the right quantity, at the right time, and at the right costwhile aligning closely with production, demand planning, and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Material Requirement Planning (MRP) to align raw material & packaging needs with production schedules.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement planning with vendors to ensure uninterrupted availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels, avoiding both shortages and excess stock.
  • Collaborate with Production, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain teams for seamless operations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers on lead times, delivery schedules, and cost efficiency.
  • Drive process improvements to optimize working capital, reduce wastage, and enhance supply reliability.

What Were Looking For

  • 5 to 8 years experience in Procurement / MRP / Supply Chain (FMCG or Food industry preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of MRP systems, SAP/ERP platforms, and advanced Excel.
  • Proven skills in vendor management, negotiation, and cost optimization.
  • Ability to handle fast-moving, seasonal demand cycles with agility.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to think strategically.
