Role & responsibilities

Material Master Creation: Create new material masters in the SAP system using transaction code MM01.

Data Accuracy & Consistency: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of material

master data across the organization.

Data Maintenance: Update and maintain existing material master data as required, including

changing purchase order text and vendor information.

Data Governance: Adhere to data governance standards to maintain high-quality material master

data.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with various departments (e.g., procurement, inventory,

engineering, production) to gather data, ensure accuracy, and support their operational needs.

Data Validation: Verify information from part requests and ensure it meets the required material

nomenclature and data standards.

Mass Data Management: Manage and submit requests for mass creation, extension, and other

master data uploads.

Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the continuous improvement of material master data management processes.

Material Extension: Extend existing materials to new plants, storage locations, and valuation types as needed.

Key Skills & Knowledge

SAP MM Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP Materials Management (MM) and master data

management.

Master Data Governance: Understanding of data governance principles and how to implement

them.

Accuracy & Detail-Oriented: A strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail for data integrity.

Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and develop solutions.

Process Improvement: A proactive mindset to identify and implement process enhancements.
