Job Description – Accountant

Position Summary:

The accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization's financial planning and control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions (invoices, receipts, payments, etc.).
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers, trial balances, and balance sheets.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in filing returns.
  • Conduct internal audits to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in cost control and financial forecasting.
  • cooperate with auditors, financial institutions, and government authorities when required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Any degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Excel, or similar).
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Languages to be known: English, Telugu, and Kannada.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
