This position is ideal for a seasoned leader with deep expertise in medical coding operations, delivery management, and client relationship handling. As an Associate Director of Delivery, you will oversee large-scale coding projects, ensure operational excellence, and drive consistent performance across multiple teams. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality outcomes, meeting client expectations, and strengthening long-term business relationships.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Oversee end-to-end delivery for medical coding operations across multiple projects, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Lead and mentor delivery teams, including managers, supervisors, auditors, and coders, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous learning
• Build, maintain, and strengthen client relationships through regular reviews, performance updates, and proactive communication
• Ensure coding quality by implementing best practices, regular audits, and compliance protocols specific to healthcare regulations and payer requirements
• Drive operational excellence by monitoring KPIs, productivity metrics, quality standards, and SLA adherence
• Develop short-term and long-term operational strategies to optimize workflow, improve turnaround time, and enhance client satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as quality, training, workforce management, and technology to streamline processes and support business goals
• Manage escalations, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid operational bottlenecks
• Oversee hiring, training, and talent development within the medical coding delivery function
• Support new client onboarding, transition planning, and ramp-up activities, ensuring successful project stabilization
• Monitor financial performance of delivery units, including cost efficiency, revenue realization, and profitability metrics
• Ensure all activities adhere to HIPAA guidelines, organizational data security policies, and compliance standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging automation, tools, and emerging technologies in healthcare delivery
• Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for senior leadership regarding operational performance, client health, and strategic improvements

What Makes You a Great Fit
You are an ideal candidate if you bring:

• 15+ years of experience in medical coding operations with at least several years in a senior delivery leadership role
• Strong understanding of medical coding standards, payer guidelines, audit methodologies, and healthcare compliance regulations
• Proven track record in managing large teams, complex accounts, and multi-project environments
• Excellent client management skills with the ability to lead executive-level conversations and drive long-term satisfaction
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues, improve processes, and elevate operational performance
