Job Description:

Mahatma Public School, Perambalur, is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Mathematics to join our senior secondary faculty team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations with clarity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Grades 11 & 12 (CBSE curriculum).
  • Prepare students for internal assessments, board exams, and competitive examinations.
  • Use innovative teaching methods, technology, and real-life applications to explain concepts.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress regularly; provide feedback and guidance.
  • Maintain academic records, prepare question papers, and contribute to curriculum planning.
  • Support the overall academic mission of the school by mentoring and motivating students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Mathematics with B.Ed. (mandatory).
  • Prior experience in teaching Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (CBSE preferred).
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken & written) are essential.
  • Strong knowledge of CBSE syllabus, exam patterns, and latest teaching methodologies.
  • Passion for teaching, problem-solving, and student development.
  • Ability to integrate digital tools and innovative pedagogy in teaching.
