Easebuzz is a payment solutions (fintech organisation) company which enables online merchants to accept, process and disburse payments through developer friendly APIs. We are focusing on building plug n play products including the payment infrastructure to solve complete business problems. Easebuzz is one of India's few payment aggregators which is building SAAS emebedded with payments infrastrucure. We are well capitalised and have recently closed a fundraise of $4M in March, 2021 from prominent VC firms and angel investors. The company is based out of Pune and has a total strength of 280 + employees. Job Summary:
Easebuzz is seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our talented engineering team in Pune. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of cutting-edge payment solutions, managing and mentoring a team of skilled engineers, and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities:
Technology Stack:
· Possess expertise in Python, Django, MySQL, Postgres, and AWS services.
· Familiarity with React is a plus.
· Ensure the team adheres to best practices and coding standards.
Technical Leadership:
· Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and robust solutions.
· Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to ensure our technology stack remains innovative and competitive.
Team Management:
· Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers.
· Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, encouraging continuous learning and professional development.
· Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Project Management:
· Work closely with product managers to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
· Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
· Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks or challenges.
Collaboration and Communication:
· Foster open communication within the engineering team and across departments.
· Collaborate with other teams, such as product management and quality assurance, to achieve common goals.
· Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on project status and technical initiatives.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
· Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring engineering teams.
· Strong technical background with expertise in Python, Django, MySQL, Postgres, and AWS services.
· Experience with React is a plus.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
