Job Summary:
We are looking for a Fit-out Draftsman with experience in preparing technical drawings and shop drawings for interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software, with a strong understanding of joinery, ceiling layouts, partitions, wall finishes, flooring, and furniture detailing.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software based on sketches, specifications, and engineering data.
Assist in the development of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other team members to clarify design details and resolve conflicts.
Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and documentation.
Support the team in preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, and material schedules, if required.
Requirements:
Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or related field.
Minimum 4-8 years of hands-on experience in preparing technical drawings and shop drawings for interior fit-out projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software (e.g., Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks depending on industry).
Understanding of construction methods, building codes, and technical standards.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or related field.
