Roles and Responsibilities

1) Filing of all the returns with RBI

2) Prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings (AGMs) and follow up on action points.

3) Convene and service AGMs, take minutes, draft resolutions, and lodge required forms and annual returns with appropriate departments.

4) Ensure policies, regulatory, or statutory changes that might affect the organization are up to date and approved by the committee.

5) Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries.

6) Liaise with external regulators and advisers such as lawyers and auditors.

7) Develop and oversee the systems that ensure the company complies with all applicable codes, in addition to its legal and statutory requirements.

8) Manage contractual agreements with lenders and customers

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 8-10 years of experience in company secretarial or related field (compliance).
  • Strong knowledge of companies act, sebi regulations, rbi guidelines, and other relevant laws.
