We're hiring a Project Design Engineer – Electrical Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong expertise in electrical design, product development, and project execution within the automotive, battery, or EV sector.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead design execution from project kickoff to production start.
  • Develop product requirements, prototype samples, cost estimates, and testing plans.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to meet deliverables and timelines.
  • Drive engineering solutions through design reviews, FMEA, and risk mitigation.
  • Build strong engineer-to-engineer relationships with customers to identify opportunities.
  • Partner with manufacturing for new product launches, cost reduction initiatives, and tooling requirements.
  • Create and manage Gantt charts, project timelines, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum).
  • 7+ years' experience in automotive, battery, EV sensor, or related product environment.
  • Strong communication skills – fluent in English (written & spoken).
  • Proficient in technical report writing and public speaking.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment/tools for development, testing, and validation.
  • Expertise in circuit design, schematic layout, and DFM for PCBAs with contract manufacturers.
  • Skilled in the design of experiments and product validation testing.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.
