Job Title Senior Electrical Engineer Location Chennai Hyderabad Pune Mumbai Job Type Full Time Industry Oil Gas EPC Job Summary We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with proven experience in onshore and offshore oil gas projects proficient in design tools such as ETAP Dialux and other relevant software The ideal candidate should have experience working with leading EPC companies like Worley KBR Technip or similar and a strong understanding of electrical systems engineering Key Responsibilities Perform electrical design and analysis using tools such as ETAP for load flow short circuit relay coordination arc flash and motor starting studies Conduct lighting calculations and layouts using Dialux or similar tools Prepare and review single line diagrams SLDs cable sizing equipment specifications and data sheets Develop electrical layouts cable routing grounding and lighting systems Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with project specifications Ensure designs comply with applicable international codes IEC NEC IEEE etc Coordinate with other disciplines instrumentation civil mechanical to support integrated project delivery Support construction pre-commissioning and commissioning activities Requirements Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering 8 years of electrical engineering experience in the oil gas industry Proficiency in ETAP Dialux and AutoCAD or similar design tools Hands-on experience in onshore and offshore project environments Familiar with EPC workflows and documentation standards Strong understanding of power distribution lighting grounding and protection systems Good communication and coordination skills Preferred Experience Prior experience with major EPC firms such as Worley KBR Technip Wood McDermott etc Experience in brownfield modifications and offshore platforms Familiarity with hazardous area classification and design in explosive environments Knowledge of international electrical standards and regulatory compliance Department GCS India Associate Skills Required Technical Bid Evaluations Gas Project Commissioning Arc Flash Studies Equipment Selection Hazardous Area Classifications Electrical Designs Technical Leadership Electrical Engineering Short Circuit Hazardous Areas Power Distribution Arc Flash Desirable Skills Technical Bid Evaluations Gas Project Commissioning Arc Flash Studies Equipment Selection Hazardous Area Classifications Electrical Designs Technical Leadership Electrical Engineering Short Circuit Hazardous Areas Power Distribution Arc Flash Designation Associate
