About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated US Based Senior Accountant with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in managing accounts for US clients. This is a specialized role where you will handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, AP/AR management, and ensure compliance with US GAAP standards.

This position is ideal for someone who wants international exposure, enjoys working with numbers, and has strong knowledge of US accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.

Key Responsibilities

As a US Based Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing day-to-day bookkeeping for US-based clients.
• Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Handling bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and ledger adjustments.
• Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Processing US payroll and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of accounting transactions.
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensuring adherence to US GAAP and accounting principles.
• Communicating with US-based clients, understanding their requirements, and resolving queries.
• Assisting CPA firms in tax preparation and compliance-related tasks when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

1. Minimum 2 years of practical experience in US accounting (mandatory).
2. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or other US accounting tools.
3. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, payroll processing, AP/AR, and reconciliations.
4. Good command over English communication (written and spoken).
5. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
6. High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
7. Professional approach with good client handling skills.
