Job Summary:
I&C-Designer is responsible for designing and developing instrumentation systems, preparing drawings, layouts, and schedules to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D models using software such as E3D or similar tools and ensure they are clash-free with other disciplines.
- Modelling of offline Instruments, Junction Box, Remote I/O panel, and extraction of Location Plan drawings.
- Preparation of instrument hook-ups, junction box grouping and layouts, and Cable Schedule and Bulk MTOs.
- Maintain revision control and documentation of 3D models and associated drawings.
- Exposure to Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Diploma in Instrumentation/Electrical
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Instrumentation design within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as E3D or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation design principles, equipment layout, and routing best practices.
- Experience in clash detection, constructability reviews, and model coordination.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
