Role Description:

  • UAT Planning & Strategy
  • Lead UAT strategy, scope definition, timelines, and entry/exit criteria.
  • Collaborate with business SMEs to define acceptance criteria and test objectives.
  • Identify UAT risks, dependencies, and mitigation measures.
  • Test Design & Execution
  • Develop detailed UAT test scenarios, cases, and test data aligned with business workflows.
  • Execute UAT test cycles across multiple releases, sprints, and enhancements.
  • Perform functional, regression, business process validation, and end-to-end testing.
  • Validate UI/UX elements, data accuracy, integrations, and overall business flow.
  • Defect Management
  • Log, track, and prioritize defects in collaboration with development and QA teams.
  • Coordinate triage meetings and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
  • Re-test fixes and perform impact analysis.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Act as a liaison between business teams, QA, and development.
  • Facilitate UAT sign-offs and ensure business readiness.
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare UAT test plans, cases, traceability matrices, and summary reports.
  • Document gaps, requirement clarifications, and process improvements.
  • Maintain strong testing documentation aligned with audit and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of UAT or Business Testing experience in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps delivery models.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements, workflows, and functional mappings.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools (Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Experience with web and mobile application testing; API awareness is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
