Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer (Construction Line) to ensure that all construction activities meet the required quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory guidelines. This role involves conducting inspections, implementing quality control procedures, coordinating with site teams, and maintaining proper documentation to ensure flawless project execution. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality workmanship on-site.

Key Responsibilities:Quality Monitoring & Inspections

  • Conduct regular inspections of construction work, materials, and processes.
  • Verify work as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and standards.
  • Identify defects, deviations, and areas requiring corrective action.

Quality Control Implementation

  • Develop and implement QA/QC procedures across all project stages.
  • Monitor concrete testing, material testing, and workmanship quality.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and quality management systems.

Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues.
  • Liaise with third-party labs for material testing and certifications.
  • Participate in site meetings and provide input on quality-related matters.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, test reports, NCRs, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare QA/QC reports, checklists, and site quality documentation.
  • Ensure all documentation is updated and aligned with project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or QA/QC Engineer in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, standards, methods, and testing procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of quality control tools and documentation.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering with strong QA/QC experience (acceptable).
  • Certification in QA/QC, ISO standards, or Material Testing (added advantage).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, QA/QC documentation tools, and testing equipment.
