Role Synopsis:
We are seeking a construction/ project execution professional with minimum 18years of experience, out of which the last 8 years should have been in the wind/renewable energy industry. The incumbent will be based in Rajkot, reporting to the Head of construction, and will be responsible for travelling to projects, overseeing, managing and delivering projects within the stipulated timelines.
The role requires someone good with people and time management and addresses the challenges concerning stakeholders, vendors, and contractors. Focus on the Organisation's Quality and Safety standards while managing, constructing, and delivering the projects. The incumbent will also be responsible for all site construction activities, managing site administration requirements, and assuming economic responsibility for material, personnel, and contract costs. Candidates with experience in both wind and solar construction will be preferred.
 
Job description:
  • Efficiently monitor transport equipment's, cranes, tools and all other site activities related to Civil, BOP, WTG erection to optimize time and costs, enhancing overall productivity.
  • Lead the project update meetings and reviews for state
  • Manage Senior Management and all relevant stakeholder departments.
  • Track and monitor the projects/ site, identify and address issues early on, make mid-course corrections, and escalate issues promptly.
  • Identifying critical delay areas, work on mitigation strategies, and execute accordingly.
  • Efficiently monitoring cranes, tools and transport equipment, installations, and all other site activities related to Civil, BOP, and WTG erection to optimize time and costs, enhancing overall productivity.
  • Ensuring that Reports, Log sheets are filled out consistently and clearly, facilitating timely release of vendor invoicing and invoice booking from Accounts.
  • Harnessing internal and external data and benchmarks to identify opportunities for optimizing costs and enhancing HSE parameters.
  • Liaison with various nodal agencies, budgeting and estimation, ensuring on-time delivery of the projects with quality and stringent deadlines.
  • Extend support for laying site roads and facilitating crane and material movements, coordination with state officials, vendors, contractors & sub-contractors.
  • Being contract savvy, ensuring no claims on the company and also keeping its position strong to stake claims on its contractors / sub-contractors.
 
Role requirements:
  • Experience 18 to 26 years
  • Education Qualifications Mandatory: B. Tech / B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical
  • Preferred: M Tech / MBA / PGDM
  • Technical Skills: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Projects, Primavera
  • Other Skills: End-to-End Project Management, Hands-on experience, Team Management, Vendor Management, Time Management, Stakeholder Management, Negotiation Skills, Good English Communication Skills
