Job Description:

As an ESG Executive at Synergy Marine Group, you will be integral in supporting our commitment to sustainability and ethical practices. You will assist in the development and implementation of our ESG strategies, ensuring they align with our business objectives and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ESG Strategy Implementation:

  2. Assist in the development and execution of ESG strategies and initiatives.

  3. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes related to ESG and recommend adjustments to compliance infrastructure and practices.

  4. Coordinate with different departments to implement ESG initiatives effectively across the organization.

  5. Reporting and Compliance:

  6. Help prepare ESG reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with international standards (e.g., ESRS, GRI, SASB).

  7. Monitor metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of ESG initiatives.
  8. Collection of data and maintenance of documentation for ESG Reporting and compliance
  9. Support ESG audits and certifications.
  10. Manage application processes for sustainability and ESG-related awards and recognition.

3.Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with internal teams to raise awareness and integrate ESG principles in their operational practices.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders regularly to enhance transparency and report on ESG performance.

4.Project Management and Support:

  • Conduct research on best practices, emerging trends, and innovations in ESG.
  • Support project management and provide updates on ESG projects to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Corporate Responsibility, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an ESG or sustainability role, freshers with suitable knowledge suite can apply as well.
  • Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and standards such as CSRD, ESRS, GRI, SASB, etc.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as an individual and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior experience with ESG reporting software is a plus.

  • Proactive and able to work independently on multiple projects.
